HomePod Mini

Lately, I've worked extremely hard to lessen the reliance on my phone. I recently bought a $30 weekly planner notebook. For several months, I've had an Apple HomePod.

When I initially got it I only used it to play music. Then I had the idea to use it for alarms and timers. That's pretty much it, but it's surprising how helpful only those three utilities are.

What's really cool is I can just say a radio station and it'll start playing it. The HomePod is connected to iHeartRadio, which opens up a wide array of possible listening options. I listen a lot to the American Top 40 countdown hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

It would be nice if the HomePod could do a little more, but what it can do is really helpful.

Also, I have an Apple TV, so if I want, I can connect the HomePod audio output so it acts like a sound bar. Pretty cool, but not something I use regularly because I'm not that interested in setting it up every time I use the TV.

Nonetheless, I get a lot of use out of the HomePod Mini and would definitely purchase it again. A top Reccoh for sure!
